Chief Carlo Guglielmo Talarico, 62, of Stantonsburg, NC passed away Thursday, January 5, 2023, in Black Creek, NC. He was born on September 9, 1960, in Pottstown, PA, a son of the late Luigi and Delfina Talarico.
Mr. Talarico was a man of many accomplishments and a proud American. He served in law enforcement for over twenty-five years and served in Afghanistan doing private contacts throughout his career. Carlo was employed with the Wayne Co. Sheriff Dept. where he worked on the SWAT team. Later in his law enforcement career, he transferred to Stantonsburg Police Dept. for several years and then served at Longleaf Neuro Med Treatment. In 2021 Mr. Talarico became the Police Chief of Black Creek, NC where he was loved and respected by many. He had many interests and enjoyed airbrushing, music, playing guitar and his Harley motorcycle. Carlo never met a stranger and would give you the shirt off his back to help anyone in need. He loved life and his family. Carlo will be missed by all who knew him.
Surviving Mr. Talarico is his son, Nick Talarico of Conway SC; daughters, Kym Talarico of New Jersey; Skylar Talarico of Stantonsburg, NC; brother, Marco Talarico of Virginia and Roberto Talarico Pottstown, PA and several extended family members who loved him.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
