Celia's life was rooted in the values of her Catholic faith, which guided her every action and interaction. She was a devoted wife to her loving husband Francisco Gonzalez, with whom she built a beautiful life with and raised a family that became Celia's pride and joy.

A cherished mother, Celia is survived by her sons, Israel Castro Gonzalez and his wife Clara, Francisco Javier Gonzales Castro, Emmanuel Gonzales Castro and his wife Maria Rivas, Eduardo Gonzalez Castro and wife Angelina Mendez all of Kenly, NC. Her daughter, Mary Carmen Gonzales Castro and Oscar De la Cruz of Princeton, NC. Celia's legacy continues through her family, including her adoring brothers, Juan Castro Escobedo, Jaime Castro Escobedo, and her sister Maria Cleofas Castro Vazquez, all of Mexico, including many extended family members who will miss her dearly.

Celia's life was one of selfless service and boundless love. She was the heart of her family, always there to listen, to comfort, and to offer wise counsel. Her kind-hearted nature extended beyond her family as she was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Her home was a haven of warmth and hospitality, where friends and family were always welcome.
