Mrs. Cynthia Ardis Knoll, 77, of Wilson, NC passed away Sunday, January 31, 2021 in Wilson Medical Center.
She was born August 20, 1943 in Philadelphia, PA a daughter of the late Harry R. Ardis and Alberta Palm.
Cynthia was an active member of Forest Hills Baptist Church and former member of First Baptist Church in Rockville, MD. She enjoyed quilting and earned the nickname “Phantom Courier” because she found great satisfaction in helping others without them knowing. She was a very humble person with the heart of a servant. Cynthia worked for 25 years in her husband’s business Knoll Architectural Models as a bookkeeper.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Knoll was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Ronald D. Knoll.
Surviving Mrs. Knoll are her sons, David Knoll and his wife, Angela of Seattle, WA, Keith Knoll of Bluffton, SC and Mark Knoll of Wilson, NC; grandsons, Nathan and Josiah both of Seattle, WA; great grandsons, Braxton and Huxley Knoll also of Seattle, WA.
Due to COVID-19 at the request of the family there will be a private family only celebration of her life Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at 6:30 PM at Providence Funeral and Cremation Service with the Reverend Mark Harrell officiating.
