Deborah Nichols Williams

Deborah Nichols Williams of Wilson, NC passed from her earthly life into the loving arms of God on Wednesday, August 6, 2025.

Ms. Williams was born on November 4, 1948 in Wilson, NC. a daughter of the late Louis and Dorothy Nichols.

Deborah was very gifted. She played the piano for the First FWB Church of Wilson for several years. One of her favorite songs was, “Wind Beneath My Wings”. She was an excellent cook and always enjoyed working in her home and yard. Deborah began her career at Chapel Letter Service. Then she worked at the First Presbyterian Church for several years. She also worked for many years for Wilson County DOT. She later retired from Merck Pharmaceutical.

In addition to her parents Ms. Williams was predeceased by her precious son, Matthew Bartley “Bart” Williams.

What a blessing to know that Deborah has finished her journey and is now at peace in heaven. Forever in our hearts, with much love the Williams Family. Special thanks to Wayne Turpin and his family for their love and friendship throughout the years.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 11, 2025 at 2:00 pm in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Wilson, NC with the Reverend Dr. John Mark Horrell of Wilson First Pentecostal Holiness Church officiating.
