Jeffrey "Jeff" Hill, a devout Christian, loving family man, and passionate Kansas City Chiefs fan, was called home to be with the Lord on September 16, 2025 at the age of 50. He was born on April 17, 1975, in St. Louis, MO. Jeff's gentle spirit and infectious laughter brought joy to all who knew him. He departed this world in Wilson, NC, leaving behind a legacy of love and faith. Jeff is survived by his devoted wife, Heather Hill; his cherished children, Isabella and Griffin; and his respected mother-in-law, Anita Harris, all of whom reside in Wilson. Mr. Hill was predeceased by his parents, Ray and Janet Hill. The unwavering love and unity of his family were the cornerstones of his life. Jeff's commitment to his loved ones was evident in every action he took and every word he spoke. He earned an Associate's Degree that propelled him into a rewarding career in IT as a desktop support technician. Jeff's colleagues knew him as a reliable and knowledgeable professional who approached his work with diligence and a ready smile. His ability to troubleshoot complex issues was only matched by his willingness to lend a helping hand wherever it was needed. Jeff's faith in Jesus Christ was the guiding force in his life. He lived by the words of Scripture. His actions spoke volumes about his deep and abiding faith. Whether he was volunteering at church or simply offering a kind word to a stranger, Jeff's life was a testament to his belief in Christian values. First and foremost, Jeff loved Jesus, and this love was the foundation upon which he built his life. He adored his family with every fiber of his being, and his role as a husband and father was the one he held most dear. Jeff found great joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as casting a line on a tranquil lake or cheering on his favorite football team, the Kansas City Chiefs, every Sunday. Those who were blessed to know Jeff will remember him as a loving, funny, and faith-filled man. His laughter was a balm to the soul, and his sense of humor could lighten the darkest of days. Jeff's presence was a source of comfort and strength to his family and friends, and his memory will be cherished in the hearts of those he touched. As we bid farewell to Jeff, we take solace in the knowledge that he is at peace in the presence of our Savior. His life was a beautiful reflection of the Gospel he held so close to his heart, and his spirit will continue to inspire us all. Jeff Hill's earthly journey may have ended, but his story of faith, love, and laughter will be told for generations to come.
A celebration of his life will be held at the convenience of the family.
