Joseph Charles Pisarik, 71, of Rocky Mount, NC
On Saturday evening, March 20,2021, Joe passed away at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Newton, NJ August 26, 1949 a son of the late Andrew (André) Pisarik and Mary Moiczek. Joe was a US Marine Corps Veteran serving in the Vietnam War and was the past commander at Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 2057 for 10 years. Joe enjoyed many things, but restoring old cars, weaponry, and spending time with his family, friends and dogs was what he loved best. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Connie of the home; son, John Pisarik and his wife, Christina of Zebulon, NC; daughter, Elena Koutouzos and husband, Manoli of Rocky Mount, NC; sister-in-law, Ninfa Baiardi of Rocky Mount, NC; granddaughters, Callie and Sophia of Zebulon, NC, and special friend, his dog, Tinkerbell (Teufelshunde). In addition to his parents, Joe was predeceased by his brother, Andrew (Andy) and his sister, Barbara. A Catholic Mass will be held Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 11 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Rocky Mount, NC with celebrant, Father Tim Meares. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church, as well as after the service at their home.
