Born on April 9, 1963, in Fairbanks, AK, Denny was a beacon of joy and kindness throughout her life. She departed this world in Wilson, NC, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter.
Denny spent her life nurturing those around her, a true homemaker at heart. She dedicated herself to creating a warm and welcoming environment for all who crossed her threshold. With a smile that could light up a room, Denny's presence was a source of comfort and happiness to her family and friends.
She is survived by her brother, Curt R. Winbourne, and his wife, Marsha, of Atlantic Beach, NC; nephews Tyler Winbourne of Wilson, NC, and Anderson Winbourne of Garner, NC. Denny also leaves behind her special friend, Teresa Johnson, along with many extended family members and a community of friends who will miss her dearly. Denny was predeceased by her beloved husband and her parents, who instilled in her the values of kindness and faith that she carried with her throughout her life.
Denny's passion for gardening and yard work was evident to anyone who visited her home. Her gardens were a true labor of love, a reflection of her own nature - vibrant, full of life, and meticulously cared for. She often said that in every garden, a little rain must fall, but the beauty that follows is worth it all. This philosophy mirrored her approach to life, facing challenges with grace and always looking forward to the bloom that follows the storm.
Her friends and family will remember Denny as a kind soul, always ready with a funny story or a word of encouragement. Her faith was a central part of her life, guiding her actions and providing strength in times of need.
