Petra Albiter Roman

Petra Albiter Roman, a beacon of love and generosity, passed away peacefully on the last day of 2023, December 31st, in Spring Hope, North Carolina. Born on December 4, 1960, in Huetamo, Michoacán, Mexico, Petra's life journey was marked by an unwavering dedication to her family, an infectious love for life, and a nurturing spirit that touched all who knew her.

Petra's legacy is lovingly carried on by her devoted sons Vicente and Ruperto Vazquez of Spring Hope, NC, Daniel, Miguel Vazquez and Elmer Beisa of Norwood, NC. Her daughters Elizabeth Vazquez and Yolanda Vazquez of Spring Hope, NC, Yesenia Vazquez of Norwood, NC, and Rosalinda Vazquez of Bailey, NC, will forever cherish the memories and lessons learned from their beloved mother. Petra was a matriarch in the truest sense, providing not just for the physical needs of her family but nurturing their hearts and spirits.

A family woman through and through, Petra found her greatest joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had an innate ability to cultivate beauty, whether through the plants she lovingly tended or the exquisite dishes she prepared. Cooking was not just a hobby for Petra; it was an expression of her love, a tangible representation of her generous nature.

The beach was a place of serenity and joy for Petra. The endless horizon and rhythmic waves echoed her own vast love and steady presence. She was the heart of every family gathering, her laughter and warmth as constant as the tides.
  
Petra's faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she was a cherished member of St. Therese Catholic Church. Her faith was her compass, guiding her through life's trials and triumphs with grace and gratitude.

Petra's departure leaves a void that can never be filled, but her spirit endures in the love she shared and the family she so deeply cherished. Her life was a testament to the power of love and the beauty of giving. Petra Albiter Roman will be remembered not just for the life she lived but for the countless lives she touched with her loving and generous heart.

Graveside rites will be held 11:00AM January 3, 2024 in Meeks Cemetery, Spring Hope NC with celebrant deacon Michel DuSublon.

Nacida el 4 de diciembre de 1960 en Huetamo, Michoacán, México, la trayectoria de vida de Petra estuvo marcada por una dedicación inquebrantable a su familia, un amor contagioso por la vida y un espíritu enriquecedor que conmovió a todos los que la conocieron.

El legado de Petra lo continúan con amor sus devotos hijos Vicente y Ruperto Vazquez de Spring Hope, Carolina del Norte, Daniel, Miguel Vazquez y Elmer Beisa de Norwood, Carolina del Norte. Sus hijas Elizabeth Vazquez y Yolanda Vazquez de Spring Hope, Carolina del Norte, Yesenia Vazquez de Norwood, Carolina del Norte, y Rosalinda Vazquez de Bailey, Carolina del Norte, siempre atesorarán los recuerdos y las lecciones aprendidas de su amada madre. Petra era una matriarca en el sentido más auténtico, que no sólo satisfacía las necesidades físicas de su familia, sino que también nutría sus corazones y espíritus.

Petra, una mujer de familia de principio a fin, encontró su mayor alegría en los placeres simples de la vida. Tenía una habilidad innata para cultivar la belleza, ya sea a través de las plantas que cuidaba con amor o de los exquisitos platos que preparaba. Cocinar no era sólo un hobby para Petra,  era una expresión de su amor, una representación tangible de su naturaleza generosa.

La playa era un lugar de serenidad y alegría para Petra. El horizonte infinito y las olas rítmicas hacían eco de su vasto amor y su constante presencia. Ella era el corazón de cada reunión familiar, su risa y calidez tan constantes como las mareas.

La fe de Petra fue la piedra angular de su vida y era un miembro querido de la Iglesia Católica Santa Teresa. Su fe fue su brújula, guiándola a través de las pruebas y triunfos de la vida con gracia y gratitud.

La partida de Petra deja un vacío que nunca podrá llenarse, pero su espíritu perdura en el amor que compartió y en la familia que tanto apreciaba. Su vida fue un testimonio del poder del amor y la belleza de dar. Petra Albiter Roman será recordada no sólo por la vida que vivió sino por las innumerables vidas que tocó con su corazón amoroso y generoso.

Los ritos junto a la tumba se llevarán a cabo a las 11:00AM el 3 de enero de 2024 en el cementerio de Meeks, Spring Hope NC, con el celebrante diácono Michel DuSublon.
