Tina Bryant Obituary

Tina Michele Bryant, a beacon of love and compassion to all who knew her, passed away on November 5, 2024, in her hometown of Wilson, NC. Born on August 17, 1976, in the same nurturing community, Tina's life was a testament to her unwavering spirit and generous heart.

Tina's journey was marked by profound love and resilience. She was predeceased by her beloved son, Levi Bryant, whose memory she cherished with every fiber of her being. The depth of her maternal love was evident in the way she fought to bring Levi into this world and in the grace with which she faced his loss. Tina was also preceded in death by her parents, Timothy Ray “Giggy” Bryant and Joyce Thomas, her stepfathers, Roy Thigpen and Wahoo, and her grandparents, Marylee Davis, Sr. Johnny Bryant, Betty Joyce Terry, and Tom Terry.

Despite the sorrow of these losses, Tina's capacity for love remained undiminished. She embraced Austin Langley, raising him with the same dedication and warmth as if he were her own. Her brother Timothy "Tim" Bryant, her cousins, aunts, uncles, and an extensive network of extended family members felt the strength of her affection daily. To her friends, who were indistinguishable from family in her eyes, Tina was a constant source of joy and support.

Professionally, Tina dedicated her life to the care of others as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), a role that seemed tailor-made for her innate nurturing qualities. Along the way in her career, she caretook and built a relationship with Bob and Martha Paige Walker who loved her as a family member of their own. Her colleagues and those under her care will remember her for a work ethic driven by genuine concern and kindness.

Tina's Christian faith was the cornerstone of her existence. She lived her beliefs through her actions, always ready to give her heart and soul to those she loved. Her passions were simple yet profound: cooking and baking—especially her favorite dessert, pineapple cake—decorating, and creating a warm, welcoming home where family and friends could gather.

Those who knew Tina will recall her favorite expression, "Hey Baby," delivered with a smile that could light up the darkest room. This simple greeting embodied her approach to life: open, affectionate, and always ready to welcome others into her heart.

Tina's memory will be cherished not only for her loving and friendly nature but also for the way she exemplified the virtues of kindness, generosity, and unconditional love. Her legacy is one of a life lived for others, a life that was filled with moments of genuine connection and care.

Her memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her, and her spirit will continue to inspire acts of love and kindness in her community. Though she has departed from this earthly realm, the impact of her love endures, as does the warmth of her memory.

A celebration of her life will be held 3:00PM Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Wilson Loyal Order of Moose, 2705 Forest Hills Rd SW, Wilson, NC 27893.
