My grandmother recently passed, trying to deal with arrangements being made while grieving is very stressful but thanks to Providence they went out of their way to see that our family was their number one priority! They go the extra mile where others don’t. Excellent service!

I can not think Providence Funeral and Cremation enough for the outstanding service that they provided us during the loss of my dad! Willie and Nick went above and beyond to make sure that my family had everything that we needed and that all our plans for our love one was fulfilled. Honestly, I was already a light partial of Willie! In 2019, Wille was highly recommended to me when I loss my 19 year old son, at that time he was employed at Joyners funeral home. Not only did Willie help my family through the most devastating time in our life, his kindness, compassion, outpouring support, and the love he showed made us felt like he was just like one of us, wanting what was best under the circumstances! When you meet someone that can touch your heart like he did mine and my family, you will follow them where ever they go! Now, Willie and Nick have their own establishment (Providence) and I’m going to recommend them, cause if it wasn’t for someone recommending me to Willie I would have never got the pleasure to meet a person with so many characteristics to offer! I will forever be grateful for Willie and he will alway be a part of my family. With him by my side, I know that my love one will forever be taken care of until they are laid to rest! With the sudden death of my father it brought confusion and we were left wondering what to do. We had talked about what my Dad wanted but never finalized anything. I will tell you William walked myself and my Dad's wife through every step of this tragic loss my family endured. He was sensitive, caring, respectful, and timely with all of the things we needed. He helped get a DNA test so I could have family history since both of my parents have passed. He has been very gentle in our decisions and caring to help us with forms and legal matters that no one EVER thinks of. This is why they are there!!! I don't even think there are enough kind words to say. I am not even from Wilson but may go to have them do my service just to make it easier for my own family. Nick was amazing. He took what was a stressful time and helped out more than we could have imagined. He was flexible, supportive, and most of all caring. Upon calling funerals homes and trying to get an idea of what do. Providence made things so much easier. They were so caring, professional and available 24/7. If the time ever comes again that funeral services are needed we will be using Providence.

Willy and Nick were the best. My God they are so respectful an mindful of the family of the deceased. There motto is its not about the price its about the life. They proved to us that they were Men of there word an l would personally recommend them and their services. I've only just met them however they make me feel like I've known them a lifetime.

Burying a loved one is very distraughting regardless. However, Willy made everything go flawlessly including going out of his way to find a dress when we could not find one. He was there for every step and gave one on one attention unlike other funeral homes looking for money. He even keeps up with his former clients by sending them messages on important dates. I highly recommend Providence. You can tell they truly care and will keep in touch which is very comforting in these hard times.

I met both William and Nick as a result of the passing of my mother-in-law, whom I had cared for in the last days of her life. If it had not been for these two gentlemen, the experience would not have been a pleasant one. The "company" that was called to handle the needed service employed both William and Nick at the time. I was not impressed with the way this "company" conducted business...but once William was involved, everything changed. He calmly and professionally handled the situation at just the appropriate time. Later, when it came time to make the official service plans, Nick was the person who handled that aspect of it. Because of their caring attitudes, I was able to get through the difficult process of cremation and funeral planning. There were several decisions I had not thought about prior, and both William and Nick offered solutions that made sense, while honoring the life of my mother-in-law, and respected the fact that there was a budget involved. I am very grateful for their help and guidance. We have since become friends, and more like family. Thank you both.
